Benevibe’s founder – Bev Jones
With 25+ years’ experience in leading HR and people practices globally, I am delighted to be able to share this knowledge and expertise with you through benevibe.
I love HR systems! I know what they do well in providing data and supporting employee experience, and I also know where they can fall short.. I devised benevibe after trying to find a workplace solution that simply did not exist. Many people who have worked with me before will recognise the 4 quadrant approach on which benevibe is based, as I have used it successfully with many individuals and organisations in the past.
This is a people-first solution that allows individuals and organisations to truly connect, understand and grow together.
One of the main reasons people leave an organisation is due to their inability to grow and reach their potential at work. benevibe’s unique reports and actionable insights enable the connections and conversations that contribute to achieving true potential for both organisations and their people.
I have seen and personally experienced the growth that’s possible when there is the right connection (through values and purpose)… having quality conversations… with access to the right benefits and development… enabling fulfilment of work and life ambitions.

What’s in a name – why benevibe?
After many weeks working on the product, our founder Bev confirmed that she is much better with systems and data than names. So she turned to a creative gem for help. Thanks Alex!
“bene” meaning happy or well and also short for benefits
“vibe” a feeling that something brings
Put them together and you get … happy feelings!
The benevibe design principles
There were three principles that were non-negotiables for us when it came to the design of the final benevibe product:
1. Quick, easy and insightful – people and organisations needed to get significantly more back, based on the time and effort they put in and, unlike some types of survey, individuals must receive an immediate benefit for completing the tool.
2. Personalised outcomes – as consumers we can personalise anything we like.. lets take a coffee.. medium, oat, warm, ¾ full! But when it comes to work, where we spend much of our time, there is little to no freedom to express who we are or our needs and have them met. This is despite the research telling us the importance of inclusivity and the increase in work/life integration.
3. Commercial – people are an expensive asset, particularly in Australia. benevibe had to provide organisations with the insights to enable better employee spend decisions… currently less than 30% of the $100 billion spent annually is being fully utilised or meeting a true need.
